The USGS has released a beautiful poster of Mount St. Helens created from high-resolution LiDAR topography data.  The poster is USGS General Information Product 116 and is freely available for download in PDF format at either 17x22 inches or 32x42 inches.

This was also a PERS cover back in 2005, along with a (probably obsolete now) Lidar in the USGS article:  http://www.asprs.org/publications/pers/2005journal/january/

and the lava some that “recently” grew is clearly visible. when i initially created these contour lines (http://www.cs.unc.edu/~isenburg/googleearth/contour/saint_helens/saint_helens.kmz) the lava dome was not reflected in the google earth elevation because they were using the data from the SRTM mission of 2000. and the dome grew until 2004 (http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/11/06/mount.saint.helens/index.html). now the data aligns properly to the terrain.

Thanks Martin - The USGS has a page dedicated to the 2004 eruptive period with a nice animation of the dome growth from repeat lidar: http://vulcan.wr.usgs.gov/Volcanoes/MSH/Eruption04/LIDAR/
